
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the redeployment of two commissioners and a special adviser, alongside the appointment of a new Special Adviser on Mining.
This information was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday, March 10, 2025, by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, in Lafia.
According to the statement, the affected officials include: Umar Tanko Tunga, who has been redeployed to the Ministry of Agriculture from the Ministry of Lands and Urban Development as Commissioner.
Barrister David Moyi, who now takes over the Ministry of Lands and Urban Development.
Mohammed Usman Shege, reassigned as Special Adviser on Water Resources.
In addition, Governor Sule approved the appointment of Mr. Samuel Azamu Egya, a former member of the House of Representatives, as the new Special Adviser on Mining.
The SSG noted that the changes are aimed at enhancing service delivery and ensuring the effective implementation of government policies.
