The producer answers charges of music theft and denies involvement in the P-Square controversy

Following the current feud between the P-Square twin brothers, Paul Okoye (also known as Rudeboy) and Peter Okoye (also known as Mr P), Nigerian music producer Vampire Grace has formally released a statement to explain his stance. The newest conflict revolves about who owns and releases their song “Winning.”

Rudeboy officially asserted his ownership of the song “Winning” on Friday, which rekindled the siblings’ bitter rivalry. His accusation that his twin, Mr. P, rerecorded the song with Vampire Grace and released it “word for word” has generated a lot of debate among their fans and followers.

This new clash has reopened the long-standing rift between the siblings. Although they reconciled in 2021 after several years of estrangement, recent events suggest that their relationship may be strained once again, with ‘Winning’ bringing old issues back to the surface.

In response to the accusations by Rudeboy about the alleged unauthorized release and re-recording of the song, Vampire Grace has clarified his role in the project. He stated that he was solely responsible for the song’s production but had no involvement in decisions regarding its release.

Addressing his followers on Instagram, Vampire Grace wrote, “I produced and recorded ‘Winning’ for P-Square back in 2022. I handed over the stems to P-Square for mixing and mastering, received payment, and left Lagos. Two years later, one of the Square brothers released the song. How is that my responsibility? I’m not managing P-Square.”
